MIGRATION vs TOURISM

MOTTO (visual identity on fliers/ brochures/ panels/ web site)
We like it so much, we come back every year.
That would be MIGRATION. You call it TOURISM.
Here is where things come together. Come bird-watching to Crisan.

CONSTRUCTIVE/ STRUCTURAL SYSTEM
The design proposes a barge made of recycled barrels (250 liters) and a wooden superstructure. Four inclined pillars supporting a textile structure, create an aerodynamic surface. The textile infrastructure intersections supports the bird models (PVC, foam etc.), the multicolored “tweets” (referring to the the myriad species of migratory birds). The assembly is powered by a photovoltaic system used for night-lighting.

MOTTO (visual identity on fliers/ brochures/ panels/ web site)
Sometimes you can’t see the forest for the trees.
But the forest is there. For hundreds of years. Waiting.
Get your paddles running and come see the secular trees at Letea forest.

CONSTRUCTIVE/ STRUCTURAL SYSTEM
The construction is quite simple: an existing boat is plated with OSB 3 board (or other moisture resistant board). Perforations sustain the “trees” – recycled rowing paddles. The message refers to both forest (one of the oldest in Europe) and canoeing (once a very popular sport in our country and the region). Floating on the river, with a continuous air flow, the solution proposes a micro wind-turbine system (minimum or no accumulators needed) used for night-lighting.
